Doug,

I am perplexed. Don't know how, where to begin, what do do, how to insert photos into your HealthyLightNetwork. Maybe a simple map (organization chart) would be the best and easiest way to navegate the site for new people like me.

I would like to have you walk me through the different functions and actions to see what the logic is and how it might be improved. Maybe an explaination or introduction (2-3 sentances or single paragraph) would be enough for someone like myself...anyway it would be nice to go over it with you.

I have some new ideas as to how to expand your sales into specific sectors other than the general public and have tried to suggest this in my comments related to, e.g., (1) your cat's lighting needs for life, safety and security, and more importantly (2) how Leadershiop Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) industry professionals can use your site; i.e., the use of light from a global design point of view. Of course this is where I might be able to become a part of your goup in some monetary form. Public vs Private communiaitons (one to one; one to many; many to many?; many to one?)

I am leaving for FL December 9th andhttp://www.dacorbacon.org/images/dacorbanner.gif will be gone till Feb 3rd, but can be reached at 239.549.3242 Cape Coral or my cell at 301.335.4515

Monday I have been invited to a lunch with members of the Diplomates And Officers Retired (DACOR) on subjects related to Peace Technologies The New World Economy. AND, clearly, from my perspective, a global view of LIGHT, Energy and Environtal Design have a roll in the Middle East and I know how it could be done...I just need the technical support along with my architecture and environmental design experience. We can talk about this later, but, again I would be interested in finding a way for me to get engaged with you in these areas. Any thoughts? I am also having a meeting in Ft. Worth regarding my concepts for national and global securtiy as a citizencentric initiative...again LIGHT plays a significant role. All of these initiatives can be plugged into your LIGHT network for HEALTH, WEALTH, SECURITY AND LIFE...this is architecture and environmental design. Noteworth is the University of California Berkeley, College of Environmental Design, School of Architecture is where I received my Bachelors of Architecture degree...clearly the educational process throughout the country since the late 1950's when the College of Architecture name was changed to The College of Environmental Design has changed to include far more encompassing. A HEALTHY LIGHT NETWORK should be base on the ENVIRONMENTAL in addition to the ENERGY needs of today. I would like to do this with you, by beginning to (1) enhance your goals and objective statements to include this broad concept, (2) provide a map of the environmental and energy concepts of current thinkingd, and (3) identify products for a Healthy Light Network that is based on good enerty and environmental design. This expansion of conept is holistic and in terms of LIGHT and LIFE.

I am attending a presentation Wednesday evening at the Washington DC AIA Chapater which speaks to LIGHT and is an indication of the concepts we have been discussing for LIGHT and the products that produce good light, i.e., "The beauty of joining the arts, dancing and architecture is the paradox of the mobile and immobile. Given that architecture is immobile only our powerful imagination is able to shift space in motion or metaphorically makes architecture dance. How can architecture thus authentically represent mobility?

A literal depiction, sometimes referred to as "frozen movement" has never been satisfying to me for the representation of mobility is only symbolical. Instead Mr. Schmidt prefers to work out sensual references to movement and dancing. He likes to refer to the shaping of space as "choreography of light". Shadows cast from architectural members visualize light and generate rhythmical structures that revolve with the pathway of the sun.

Inspired by choreographer Merce Cunningham and composer John Cage, Mr. Schmidt aims to introduce architecture to dancing the same way they consider the relationship of music and dancing, as another juxtaposed layer that frequently intersects, yet remains autonomous. This junction shall be experienced as a wonderful dance with architecture.

Presented by Timo Schmidt, Technical Architectural Professional, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP

Neil 301.335.4515 cell I assume this dialogue are for you only. How do I insert photos? How do I Quit/Send or Signout?... Add Comment?
