Hey Neil! There is definitely some potential on this HLN. I have to say, my wife is from the south and she gets quite depressed come winter and the time change in Vermont. She has a Happy Light that I got from Verilux and sits in front of her computer at 6am reading the news and paying bills for an hour and it seems to work.

Then I got the R40 CFL Floods for my office canisters, Seeing as how we work on dual screen computers all day, these things are the best thing for our eyes and office environment since LCD screens. My eyes don't strain anymore and i honestly don't know what happens to the time at night.

Anyway, if you call it that - i am converted. Good lighting is important and i never realized it. Now i drive down the roads of Vermont and see peoples windows lit up at night all yellow...and i get to my house, and zing, white light. I love it!

Hi Steve,
Just thought I would introduce myself. Just becoming familiar with Doug's site and look forward to making some contributions where I can. I think the site...the concept and its potential contributiion...can have an enormous impact, serving many multiple sectors of society.
I would be interested in hearing from you with regard to the FORUM on What is Light and Good Lighting Design - Its Meaning and Value? I intend to gather interest and support of this FORUM as I have pressed for Good Lighting Design for the past 40 years as an architect.

Cheers

Neil
